Jungle Adventure Basecamp, EXCELLENT location!

short walkcute bridgestasty foodhelpful staff
The sanctuaries were just a short walk away. The orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries are REALLY close! The bridges and lakes throughout the resort created a cute atmosphere. The restaurant provided tasty and reasonably priced food (the curry was awesome!). The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I needed directions.
The pool closed quite early. It shuts down at 5 PM, which limited my swim time after a hot day exploring.
Location
10/10
The hotel provides really good access to local attractions (i felt totaly immersed!). It is only a short walk to the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. The Sun Bear Conservation Centre is also easily accessible. I actually walked there in about five minutes. The Rainforest Discovery Centre is within reasonable walking distance.
Dining
9/10
The open-sided eating area overlooks a nice water feature. Breakfast had adequate options to start the day right. Evening meals were reasonably priced with tasty options. The restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating (they even remembered my coffee order after the first day!).
Rooms
9/10
My beautiful room was spacious and well-appointed. It had a comfortable bed and provided tea and coffee facilities. The balcony offered relaxing views of the surrounding jungle. The air conditioning worked well and the shower was hot (perfect after a long day!).
Service

The staff were helpful and professional throughout my stay. They were quick to respond to any questions. I felt very welcomed. The service exceeded my expectations for a two-star resort.
